Before I went gluten-free I suffered from chronic pain, headaches, stomach bloating, infertility and fatigue. Going gluten-free wasn’t a diet plan prescribed to me from a doctor. It was a decision to take my health into my own hands. Initially I went gluten-free because I was following a fertility diet that recommended eliminating wheat. This fertility plan felt like a desperate attempt, but the crazy thing is that it did work. I got pregnant and my chronic pain got significantly better. I learned that I had to take ownership of my own health.
While I’d love to say this journey was easy, I want to be honest-It wasn’t! I had a hard time giving up wheat and then re-learning how to cook without any wheat. I am six years down the road and gluten-free seems second nature to me, but it wasn’t always that way. I’ve learned so much a long the way and I’d love to share it with you. Let me enable you to take your health into your own hands to find out whether or not going gluten-free can help you feel better!
